Looking through my mail and saw a poem Poppy rewrote for me !
l found that black-red book on show
abstract covers, colours flow
/>Superficial, just the start beautiful, so like you are It
hid what pages begged to tell
From the start when we both fell
/>(me to love and you to hell) Flipped through writes Some dark,
some trite Recorded by your truthful hand Conflicting views, l
understand Cursive words are so refined Everything you’ve had in mind Is cast in ink for me to find In the darkest lamp-lit hour you Penned your thoughts and wrote the truth Everything your mind abhorred My smile’s fixed, at last l read Your ending thought, your pens last deed.. “my life became a mess when we met” Shock and grief have morphed to rage Ripping at the heart stained page Tearing paper, soft and light Confetti snows, obscuring sight Cutting wrists and slicing veins Around me white turns dirty red Merge and clot, a deafening roar No trace of what was there before Except my name, it drilled inside Your own gorgeous, twisted mind Will you ever scream, will you admit? All those hours weren’t worth it? All the times we laid in bed, were nothing spent? Are those hours dead? All those times we laughed and sighed All those fears, those tears you dried? All our talks and all our dreams Penned as such a waste it seems do u rmmbr it? :P l do not think l thanked you enough for the help : )
i miss Poppy is poems..
she inspired me to the dark side when I felt the desire.
she opened my flow my fingers on fire..
oh drat when she left us, I felt so .. chilled
my blood filled pen exhausted . stilled
and though I penned a pained rebuke one that was vile .. would make you puke. the battlefield was bare deserted.. and I in languor, danced & flirted a soul less dance without the flint my eyes reduced had lost their glint I laid my pen beneath the stream went to sleep. never more, to dream well maybe not.. but I do miss her and her edge
